January 9, 2006 RE: Business Registration Ordinance Dear Business Owner: In order to track the location changes and other changes in the business world, the City of Hudsonville has instituted the Business Registration. This Ordinance was adopted in September of 2005 and is going to go into effect for the 2006 year. A certificate of registration will be issued by the City Clerk after your information is returned to the City of Hudsonville. This Certificate shall be displayed in the business entry or lobby area. No registration fee shall be required. Once registered, a registrant shall re-register every two years. The City Clerk will send out a re-registration form to the business before expiration of the current registration. I cannot emphasis enough the importance of accurate contact information in case it is needed for fire, police, or water emergencies. This registration is a tool to help the municipality maintain contact with the business in case of emergencies or needs that arise in your area. Please help us establish this important contact base. Sincerely, Pauline Luben ***Please Download, Print, Sign, and Return BUSINESS REGISTRATION form to:*** CITY OF HUDSONVILLE |
