Welcome to the City Clerk of Hudsonville's web page. The City Clerk serves as clerk to the City Commission, by preparing agendas and related materials, presenting communications at Commission meetings, preparing minutes, and performing follow-up work. The Clerk also supervises office and counter services including processing voter registrations, maintaining poll lists, issuing City licenses, and maintaining official City records. These include: minutes, resolutions, City ordinances, property records, contracts, and other documents of the various commissions, boards, and authorities.

The City Clerk organizes and supervises elections in City wards by recruiting, training, and supervising temporary election workers. The Clerk directs ward election operations, coordinates the canvas of votes, and oversees recounts.
The City Clerk prepares budget requests for the Clerk’s office, maintains activity records, and coordinates office and election operations with those of related city and county departments.
The Clerk may also act as secretary to the City Manager and others as needed.
