Welcome to the Gary Byker Memorial Library of Hudsonville, Michigan!

The library is named for Senator Gary Byker, who served the citizens of Hudsonville in many ways. Most importantly for us, Gary valued education and reading, and it is in his honor that our library bears his name

At the library, we offer

  • Free filtered wi-fi and Internet access
  • An active Friends of the Library group
  • Photocopies, Faxing services and Computer printing for a small fee
  • Laptops for use within the library
  • Launchpads, kids tablets, available to take home
  • Computers with Microsoft Office software and access to research databases
  • See our Events Calendar for:
  •      A variety of children's programs that go beyond just storytimes
  •      Adult programming based on many topics
  • An extensive Local History room detailing Hudsonville and surrounding area history and geneology
  • DVD and Blu-Ray rentals. Music cds offered for free checkout.
  • 500-2,00 piece puzzles that can be checked out to take home

Your Gary Byker Memorial Library card is valid at any of the over 80 Lakeland Library Cooperative locations in Ottawa, Allegan, Kent and other nearby counties
