Sunrise Park

  

Sunrise Park is located at the end of Springdale Street east of Balsam Drive.  This park primarily serves the northeastern quadrant of the city.  The park has many mature trees and features a wood chip trail on the north side of Rush Creek.

Sunrise Park has a pavilion available for rental.  There are approximately six picnic tables under the pavilion.  More tables scattered throughout the park may be used, but must be returned to their original location.

Sunrise Park is designed to be a neighborhood park and has two playgrounds, a ball field, a picnic shelter, restrooms, open field play area, and parking.   The park also features a new community rain garden and a recently expanded parking lot that enables more residents to access the park. This park is pleasantly landscaped and is serving well as a neighborhood park.

The facilities may be rented from May 1 to October 15, except for holidays.  No application will be accepted prior to January 1 for the year of reservation.  For a reservation or more information call our City Clerk at 616-669-0200x412 or email jwiersum@hudsonville.org.
