Don't Rush to Flush:

Don’t Rush to Flush!

There are many things you could flush down the toilet, but that doesn’t mean they are meant to be flushed.  Remember, just because a company writes “Flushable” on the packaging of an item doesn’t mean that it should be disposed of by flushing it down the toilet.

Do not flush

  • Flushable Wipes
  • Baby Wipes
  • Paper Towel
  • Dental Floss
  • Kitty Litter
  • Cleaning Wipes
  • Feminine Hygiene Products
  • Medical Waste
  • Toilet Seat Covers

These items can cause havoc on pipes and pumps and can ultimately cause a sewer backup in your home. Avoid this by only flushing water, human waste, and toilet paper!
