Experience the woods at night as we walk the trails of the Nature Center under the full moon. Owls are beginning to nest this time of year and may possibly be seen or heard on this casual hike through the woods in the dark. This is a great time to bring snowshoes if you have them.
Naturalist Craig Elston will lead all walks, sharing information about the natural features and helping you to learn to indentify may species. All walks will begin from the parking area at the end of New Holland Ave., east of 32nd Ave. Participants should for come prepared for the weather, as the walk will be held except in the event of threatening or severe weather. Long pants and shoes or hiking boots are recommended for all walks.
