Dear Property Owner:
The Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining the water system and streets for the City of Hudsonville. As part of our water system maintenance program, we will be replacing the watermain at the above referenced locations this summer. One lane will be open in the evenings however you may need to make adjustments to getting in and out of your property. Water disruptions may be possible, The City will try to give 24 notice before any water disruptions occur. Near the completion of the project, 36th Ave will be closed for one day at Hillcrest for the tie in of the watermain.
After the main replacement, repaving will occur on the following streets: Curtis Street will be repaved from 36th to Madison; Madison from Curtis to Barker and Pine; Hillcrest Road from 36th to Marlin.
The City has contracted with Harris Con-Ag LLC for this project. They will begin June 7th, 2017. The scheduled completion of these projects is August 25th, 2017. Any damage done to your property, as a result of this replacement, will be repaired by the contractor.
